For those of you that use pine tar, which is the thickest, stickiest, best type you have come across?

I like rubbing the Brett ring with the tiger stick, then applying some tar (ive found Easton to be better then the Rawlings brand) over the tiger stick and down the handle. Some dirty mixed in... WhaaLaa!

I went a little OT there, my bad. To answer your initial question... Easton or Mueller

I second the Tiger Stick! Super sticky and doesn't create a humongous mess. Well relatively I guess.

I like a little tack, but the stick products are like gorilla glue to me. Rawling's Tar on a dish sponge. soak the sponge with tar, drop it in a ziploc and throw a small handful of dirt from the infield into the bag. It will NEVER dry out and it lasts forever. Sounds bush league...because it is. But, i cant find ANYTHING better.

Tiger stick is the best stuff I've used.

If you are going to go with liquid tar or any sort of pine tar that you need a rag to apply - -the best stuff is made by Taurus Bat Co. Liquid is really great and for even thicker and gunkier their tub tar is awesome. It's 100% real stuff. Smells like a charcoal grill.

If you want stick - Tiger Stick is consistently the only stick used by competitive players. Easier to control but the tackiness is too gluelike for me.

Im a fan of Pelican Bat Wax. They have a real thick pine tar mix in a can, that stuff is super sticky and great if you love pine tar. Their grip stick is also great and I like it more than tiger stick but it is the same idea.
