I used to have a el3 and was not very impressed with the quality. My friend had a custom 1782 i think and it felt alot better than the el3 i had. I mostly play shortstop so i was thinking about getting a 1786 or 1787 for highschool ball. Are the customs better than gloves off the shelf? And has anyone had experience with superskin? I kinda like the looks but cant decide if i should get one or not. |

I had a 1786SS and really liked the super skin. It's light weight and very durable. Now having said that my custom 1786 is a lot better quality in my opinion. I also had an el3 and was not a big fan of it. My custom was definitely worth the cost. Hope that helps |
