I have a black Mizuno Pro Limited (GXC 21) catchers mitt.

On the ring finger part of the glove the name Miguel Perez is embroidered into the leather.

When I looked up Miguel he shows as a pitcher who player 1 year in the MLB as a catcher (2005 Cincinnati Reds) and most of his career seems to be in the minor leagues.

Does this mean its a "pro issue" glove and if so does that mean anything, like it was made in Japan instead of China?

There are no tags on the glove either.

Any info is appreciated.

Japanese PL's are easy to spot. They won't have 'CM' (China Made) stamped under the wrist strap, and generally don't have the 'Mizuno' embroidery on the back of the finger stalls.
Most of the PI's used by American ballplayers in the U.S. are made in Shanghai like the retail models, while most of the Japanese ballplayers would never consider anything but the one's made in Japan.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately mine has the CM and the logo :(

Maybe he got it in the minors and they save the "good stuff" for the majors
