After years of wanting to offer a Glove-Works branded glove, we have finally decided to give it a whirl. We will be offering very exclusive gloves on a very limited basis. We have been testing a few and have been extremely pleased with the quality of workmanship and materials. Not to mention very short turn around times......2-3 weeks. I am interested in hearing from a few glovers out there as to what your dream glove would be? Maybe we'll work out a raffle in the coming weeks. Pattern Size Leather color, style etc etc etc Again, this will be very limited as we are not interested in mass producing standard low or mid line gloves. In addition, we also have 5" stainless steel lacing needles available for sale. These are much like the old tanners needles that were discontinued...only stronger steel and courser threads so I will hold your lace in place. |

A 12 inch DJ-2 Basket Web Bernie Williams Chocolate Code 55 Would be my dream. I must say that price is huge for me though with gloves. Others may not feel the same but I would never purchase a glove for more than $250. |

http://forums.softballfans.com/threads/ ... 181/page-3 Here's an example of a pattern that many people wanted, but Rawlings couldn't provide. PRO504-6 13", tan leather, tan laces, Vegas Gold stitching, stamped indent palm. If you look at the Sheffield glove you can see how the heel is narrow, but the glove is a true baseball outfield glove or softball glove. The big knock against what Rawlings did create (SBF PRO1000) was a wide heel/large hand stall. The glove market seems to be slanted toward infield gloves, while outfielders are more limited in their options. I think if you were to resurrect an unobtainable pattern, you'd have a real winner. |

Obligatory RV23 clone vote... But seriously, the MEO24 did well for Vinci Id imagine just bc of it was another option for that look. Not a 44 fan, but they have made MANY customs with that web.. Heck, even if its just a standard 12 inch pro1000 esq pattern with that web, its still neat. Granted, its more of a niche thing but since options are limited and the ones that exist seem popular, it could be a good niche to fill LOL. Will there be any wing tip type options? Sounds cool, just wondering the extent of the options you are considering! Good luck Wake!! |

I used a different pattern base than the MEO24. In terms that most can comprehend, I'd call it a Rawlings PROJD8 pattern with the RV23 web. Let's just say that I'm in love! I'm definitely interested in picking up a couple of needles. |

PRO1000 @ 11.75" Modified Single Post Dry Tan Horween. I hope its a baseball infielder's glove. The SBF exclusives are great but understandably marketed for the Softballers. |

We won't commit to C-55 but the leather quality will be comparable. The wish list provided thus far are straight forward. We have very unique prototypes that we will likely do our pilot launch with. There will be pitcher and infield pattern followed soon by an outfield model. No plans to have a generic glove builder on the site. It's limited and does not differentiate. We will post a few pics soon. |

These will be designed for baseball, but as with any glove, they could be used for softball I guess. Initial release will be RHT. 11.75, 12 and 12.25" gloves. |
