My first post here!!

I bought what I believe to be a 90s glove of decent quality. Not top of the line by far, but for $32 shipped to my door and in the condition it is in, had to do it. It will be used to play with my son who has just start his baseball journey.
My wife has a nice 11.75 HOH to use and I thought I would get something from my past for fun.

Can anyone tell me more about this glove? Release date? Quality tier?
Also what products and processes to best condition it when it gets here.

Pictures linked

Thanks all!!

Congrats on picking up a glove you are excited about!

For starters, this forum is totally defunct. You'd have better luck on the softballfans forum (just google it....still active) or joining the instagram glove community.

As far as your glove, its a mid-tier, or lower end glove, but old enough that they were actually pretty nice quality even though it wasn't top of the line, It should definitely last you quite a while if you are just using it for catch.

Conditioning should be done minimally. That glove likely won't need a ton of work to break in. So just keep dirt off of it with a lightly-damp wash cloth, and maybe once a year give it some treatment otherwise. Lots of different things work. Most glove purists would tell you to just keep it clean and don't put anything else on it - its just going to soak in and make it heavy over time.

Enjoy it!
