I got both of these today and the SHA|DO is by far the superior glove. Better leather, pattern and laces. The laces on the Trout DEP actually feel like hard pasta that is barely cooked. When I bent a piece of the lace, it really felt like it was going to snap. The only thing the DEP has better is that the inside of the finger stalls feel better on the back of my fingers compared to the SHA|DO, but that's about it. I like the material Nike uses on the inside of the gloves. They call it LPS "moist clutch" and it makes it a little more difficult to get your hand in the glove, but it has a good grip once it's inside. I guess this material is in all of the SHA|DO gloves, while the DEPs usually have leather interior except for the Trout model.
This was the first time I've felt either a SHA|DO or DEP and while I wouldn't get another DEP, the SHA|DO is one of the best gloves I've ever seen.
Is the DEP for Trout made in China? I got my SHA|DO too and it's a simply excellent glove. I was planning to return or sell it because it's for the RHT, but decided to keep it.
