I got a Custon Rolin first base mitt from JCGloves about a month ago. First I'd like to say that JC is great to work with and made everything as simple as possible. If I order another custom, I will def. go through him. The customization options were amazing. I like TIP my gloves, even my 1b mitts. He was able to enlarge the pinky stall so I could by-pass that problem.
The leather is outstanding. I keep the glove in my classroom and when I take it out to show it to players or anyone in general the room smells like a saddle. I have used it for 4 slow pitch games and just general practices, and the glove conforms well to both baseballs and softballs. I chose not to have any breaking in by the Rolin company and have found that the leather breaks in fairly easily, but holds its shape well.
Overall I love the glove and am glad I chose to go with Rolin. Pics are below.
