This is my glove that I have now used for a couple months. The pictures were taken right out of the box and here is my review.
Aesthetics: 10/10
Being a custom glove, this is exactly what I looked for when I was in the process of choosing the colors. The orange is a nice bright color although it does get darker with more playing time.
Superskin: 7/10
I got the superskin model mainly for aesthetic purposes. Basically I liked the black color on the back. The superskin itself has held very well for the couple months I have had it for. It seems pretty light and strong. I am not sure about how well it functions in the rain because I have yet to use it in the rain. The con of superskin is that it looks pretty ugly. To some, that doesn't matter but it bothers me slightly. It looks like the material made out of an outdoor basketball with the specks. Other than that, I think superskin is a personal preference.
Comfort: 7/10
The glove came incredibly stiff from the packaging because that's how I ordered it. It took me 2 months to get fully comfortable with closing it. The fingers are like rock in the beginning but after playing catch, it begins to mold to your hand. Right now, it is fully molded and very soft. I'm afraid the lining under my fingers are too soft while the palm is solid. I prefer the pro preferred leather to this one and might give the edge to a HOH but overall, still very good quality.
Laces:5/10
Sort of disappointed because this issue is avoidable. It is hard to see in the picture but some of the laces are thinner than the rest. About half of the laces in this glove feel cheap and thin while the other half seems thick and strong. It's weird, I guess WIlson wanted to save some dough by lacing cheap lace.
Conclusion: 8/10
This is still one of the best gloves out there. The leather quality is great and the rolled welting keeps the bowled shape and it's durability very well. I suppose the HOH and pro preferred might be better but in terms of custom this is the best.
