About to play in a rec Fall league soon (ASA). Just picked up a 2013 27oz Combat Pure 98 for $160 w/ free shipping on eBay. Also looking at the 2013 Easton Salvo SP12SV98 in a 26oz for a 2nd bat.

A 2013 Salvo in a 26 oz, is really light.
I've gotten a chance to swing Easton's 2013 ASA line, and in the Salvo the 30 oz. feels outstanding... swung much better than the lighter ones.

Really? I thought Salvo Comps are slightly end-loaded. Oh well, I'll swing the Combat for a while and see... I didn't like the feel of a Demarini White Steel 26oz in the store (too end-loaded for me -- looking for bat control, not power since I'm not a slugger).

The Salvo's do have a slight EL, but I found the lighter weight Salvo's and Synergy's swing very light. The 30 oz. was the most comfortable for my swing, by far.

I have felt the same with the Salvos. I usually swing 34/25 or 26 and felt the 26 Salvo swung similar to my balanced 26 Miken NXT(which feels light due to Miken being on with weight). However, when swinging the 28 Salvo, I felt more comfortable swinging it.

I think if you are swinging a 27, stay with the 27 in the Salvo. The White Steel has always been an endload beast and has always swung fairly heavy.
