Hello, I only have experience relacing the wrist of my glove. I want to buy a used glove and unlace it then use it as a "project glove". One of the things I want to try is to relace a whole glove and since it's my first time I want to relace the easiest web. Hopefully, you can help me with that and also where I should look for instructions and the exact amount of lace I need. Thanks.

Generally you need 4 pieces of 72 inch lace for any glove, except a trapeze/mod trap web, in which you'll need 5 strands. 1st base and catchers mitts might require more. Use 3/16 for the palm, heel, thumb/pinky, and wrist. 1/4 for web and fingers.

I've done a lot of Rawlings gloves, mostly basket webs, but some others too, and Rawlings are pretty straight forward. I completely relaced an older Wilson A2000 a few months ago, and the double post or H web only on a Wilson A1970 first base mitt this week, and the way laces run in both gloves seems overly complicated and uses more lace than was necessary vs any Rawlings gloves I've done.
