The good wood is maple and the lacasse is birch. They are both top notch bats the good wood is super solid and dense. I just realized the good wood is 32/30 my mistake.

marucci ap5 32 inch ( not sure of the weight, between 29 and 30 ounces) love the bat, great sound good pop, tiny bit top heavy bit thats how i like it.

bbcor: tpx z-1000 32/29 amzing bat great pop, feel the ball come off the bat real well (but its not a stinging feeling) and is super balanced
Easton omen 33/30 cant really say much used it in 8th grade, realized it was too big, and got the z-1000

Im a Victus guy all the way.
Maple ME8- 33.5 -2, cupped end, very much like a 243, top heavy
Maple JC24- 33.5, -2, cupped end, very balanced, my gamers for this summer
Also have 3 34 LS I13 for bp.

For metal, my college is sponsored by Rawlings, and I have always been biased to the original 5150. If it ain't broke don't fix it. I have used a 33, 33.5, and a 34 so far. Probably going back to the 33.5 this season.

MacDougall & Sons ~ M14 32.5 Madrone

Easton S4 33/30 Maple

I love the Easton S4 maple, still getting used to the MacDougall & Sons M14, the ball sounds excellent off barrel of the madrone wood, but the bat is a bit heavy for its size and I'm popping up too much with it :(

How are you liking the Trio? I just picked one up for my kid, he's only gamed it once, but it seemed pretty impressive. Just don't hear a lot about them, and I'm wondering why.

The Trio is all right. I started out liking it but the more I used it the less I liked it. I ended up using the team Marucci almost exclusively and have since purchased the Marucci black 2 and a mizuno generation. I think the Trio is over priced but is a nice bat with a big barrel. Id prefer a velo or 5150 before the trio if I could it over, especially for the price.

Hey, let's talk sticks.
Favorites:
LS MLB Prime 243BP 34/32
Sambat MMO 34/32
Dovetail 110 ash 33.5/31

BP only:
Tucci RO 34/34
Tucci RR1 34/35

I've got a couple of Evoshields coming from their Black Friday sale. Someone previously mentioned Warstic. If you have some time to kill, go to their website - incredibly artistic bats! What holiday scores have you made?

I Didn't need a holiday to get a deal on my Evo Shields. I paid just under $80 per bat, which is a steal considering they are essentially chandler bats with an Evo Shield logo (which I removed, something about an Evo Shield logo on a bat seemed goofy to me).

So I've been swinging primarily my 2 Evo Shield 33.5 110s
I Also mix in my LS MLB Prime 271 and Mine Roma

I know they're different turns, but how do the Evos compare to your Prime 271?

They're a bit more balanced. I wear an XL batting glove so I appreciate the thicker handle of the 110. The barrel of the 271 is much more cone- shaped (conical?). The 110 has a longer barrel and seemingly bigger sweet pot. I prefer the 110.
