If you can't get it where you need it to be in order for you to use it, is it really a better mitt? ijs......

Good point but I think I finally broke it late last night. I spent 6 hours yesterday beating the living heck out of it with a glove mallet. I got a friend of mine who speaks fluent Japanese to contact the company and apparently virtually everyone who buys one of these Hatakeyama gloves gets the water bath treatment that all stores in Japan offer. So I guess that is the key, getting the treatment. Looking back, getting that done would have saved me a lot of heartache. I assume since everyone uses it that it doesn't do any permanent damage to the glove itself.

It's a beauty, I'm thinking of buying a custom... WITH the water bath treatment. LOL
