just thought id share my new custom I received today. Got it 5 weeks after placing the order! Big props to Wilson this thing came WAY earlier than i expected. Also id like to note that this thing is a BRICK and is months from game ready(ordered pro stiff option) but a worlds different from reg stocks and the quality(to me) is just as good if not better than the japanese "PI's" which i have seen a few. I took some with the flash to give you guys a different lighting for the color incase any of you are interested in the blonde leather from the pro shop.

Nice glove! The colorway is very clean.

You don't play at Miami Dade do you?

That huge hand opening kinda concerns me, about the retail custom 1781's. Absolutely no clue why Wilson would have the lace wound five times in the heel (as opposed to the standard 4)... from the looks of it, it appears way bigger than the hand opening on my RV23's.
A 12" glove with a gigantic hand opening... not really sure what Wilson was going for.

I'd like to add that I also own an EL3 GMO and my custom is much smaller than the EL3. This glove being a 1787 and stamped "11.75" inches it is way better suited for shortstop and the pocket is not wide at all. I have an average size hand(large in batting gloves) and this thing slides on to my hand as if I was standing righty next to the person who built this glove.

Glove looks great. Have been playing with options in the glove builder, and there's no option for blonde binding - which this glove seems to have. Anyone know if certain colors tend to go out of stock from time to time? You can build a blonde glove, but no blonde binding/welting/lace.
