I have a few vintage gloves, but this one is my favorite. It is a Jim Lemon S505 and while it only measures 11.25", it is as deep as any glove I have ever seen. I'd love to have a new on of these to break in. I love the experimental era in gloves, that 30 year transition from oven mitt to the modern glove. I don't think I have seen anything "new" since about 1990 (that freeky sun visor Mizuno doesn't count).

Can you imagine what it must have been like for guys like Ted Williams who started with oven mitts and finished with essentially modern gloves.

Wonderful glove...matter of fact, this used to be my glove................and as stated the pocket is incredibly deep on these.

Fun glove to lace as well.

Ha! I mentioned this pattern in a post before and I remember you saying that you had owned one once. I always wondered if mine was the one you had had. Did you add the plastic structure to the web or was it always there? I love the web and X lacing all over the place.

I love the old Nokona's 1950,1960 model's but hate the present day models. They seem mis-shaped and heavy.

The old AMG1275MT (later the WB1275MT) was sort of odd (the current 1275H is much better), the 1970s designed BM-76/AMG175/WS1200 is certainly unique, and just the look of the current baseball first base mitt looks off to me, but other than that, I think they have a good lineup.
