Just noticed these at Eastbay - don't think I've seen them mentioned here yet? I must admit, they look pretty slick in the monochrome style. Still not going to pay $300...but nice.

Love them, but agree, $300 is a bit too pricey.

Fresher color-blocking options are paired with premium Horween leather, specially formulated for durability needed during repetitive use.

Were the other DE Pros made of Horween?

The quality is every bit as good or better. Of course, it comes down to preference - I'm sure some people here will take A2000s and PPs over the Nikes, and others will take the Nikes...but as far as quality, they are top notch.

Wait a few weeks.....the price will drop...trust me.

Maybe they meant S-Kip Horween leather?

I was in homerun monkey today and got to try these gloves on.

Theyre very soft oil kip leather, I wouldnt recommend them if youre paying retail.

They also had the nike elite gloves as well, which I thought had a way better feel for 1/3rd of the price..

To each his own.

Checked out last year's DEP's, and thought they were pretty nice gloves (not at their listed $400, but worth consideration at $200). After checking out the Japanese Nike's, I haven't been able to look at a Chinese one since.
With the big difference in Japanese Nike's, Mizuno's, and A2000's compared to the ones made in China and Vietnam, I think it's amazing how Rawlings makes all of their gloves in the Philippines and how the quality and leather on them is so consistently high.

Would these be worth it if I could get one for $212? Or would I be better off going with a HOH or a2000?
