I never had one of these and I have heard a lot of good things about them. Before I place my order I would like to get the Forum's opinion. How do they stack up to other bigger glove brands (stiffness, durability, smell, lace, liner etc..) and are the USA customs worth the price bump? Looking forward to hearing what you guys think. The concept i'm considering ordering would be an all Dura Wheat glove with tan lace in a 12" H web pattern for baseball.
Thanks,
-Carson

Glovesmith's customs are as close to the Rawlings Made in USA that your going to get right now.

Stiff as heck
Rock solid durable
Great smell
Laces and liner are top notch.

Definitely worth the price bump.

Yes or by calling Glovesmith. IMO the Glovesmith USA had better craftmanship that Rawlings USA's. I know some guys will strongly disagree. But towards the end of the SLCS program the quality control was inconsisistent to put it mildly.
