Just got this pro issue reebok VRPMR1150. Great leather. It's a brick.. It's going to be a lot of work.

Have you broken yours in yet? I just use my for bullpens, mostly for kids that throw under 60mph( though I do catch a couple of kids who throw in the high 70's), but I've got a least a hundred hours, probably more into, this thing, AND I beat the thing up before hand, like I do with all my gloves, to break it in.

I still like, and can catch with it, but wonder if it will ever get where I want it.

I bought #1 in August 2 years ago. It took 9 months of catch until I felt comfortable with it. I now have a substantial glove mallet for #2 although I may never need to put it in play. I love this pattern and the leather Rawlings used.

huh. never really considered Adidas as having anything worth looking at. I don't give much attention to the shoe companies attempts at gloves, as they're usually garbage (Nike Shado Elite J's notwithstanding)

The Shadow Elite J are exceptional. But they dont last long if you game them. The J Kip are nice to touch but not an everyday work horse (I will game them if I am sponsored by Nike and get them for free, but they are not worth the $400 MSRP IMHO. I do like the Japanese ASICs, And the New UnderArmor gloves. This Reebok has exceeded my expectation (was skeptical at first, but this is a pro-issue how bad can this be??) very close to a Rawlings PROS! Never tried the Adidas but I have heard the EQT series is decent.
