Seriously at least own your own auctions. Even if it is a $45 +shipping over-charge, but to go all third-person, huge image down. Hopefully most people have the common sense to just go to DM sports directly.

I am trying to move a glove, and what is the problem with that? I'm just trying to recoup costs and there is no scamming or language that contradicts what the glove really is. So I'm asking why is it a scam? Also, (and this is slightly embarrassing I forgot DM had them on eBay for cheaper). I have already removed the auction and I am going to wait until he sells out to sell this one. This is just another one of GloveWorks many price critics

Its more consumer protection than it is a price critic but call it what you want. But understand that you're part of a glove community that you are trying to price gouge, expect a little back lash. Looks like your trying to profit off a glove you have remorse buying its not like you're a long time glove merchant just trying to squeeze a few more dollars out of your inventory. You're a glove collector who is over charging on a glove that's easily bought for much cheaper. So think about it for a second, either you want to be a positive part of a glove community or you want to take advantage of members of that community. But both will have consequences, positive or negative.

That was pretty hillareous going third person BUT I can justify an increased price point.
Figure $307 sale price w/shipping -$31 eBay fees- $12 PayPal fees- $12 S/H -$225 glove= $27 profit.
That's a respectable return.
Now if he was selling it on the board, it would be a different story.

I messaged him last night asking if he knew that DM had them for less, and he said he did

I actually saw this on ebay before it became a topic here, and thought "lame, he obviously knows they are still available through DM for less", but then again, if you aren't happy with it, can't return it, and have to deal with the ebay fees that are getting out of control, you really can't blame him for listing it high. A $300 sale costs you 30 bucks, then you gotta ship. ebay is the one making money here. Agreed if it were on the forum, it would be lame. But its not.

Thanks for the support guys. I do agree going third person was a dumb (yet, hilarious) idea. I guess if one person would agree with me it would be me :). But this is just me trying to recoup my money, Sadly, thanks to FEEbay not eBay markups like this are required to try and make my money back- because I ended up paying the initial 250 for the DM exclusives. I will try not to go third person from now on.

good choice. at this point, i think thats the only thing people might hold against you (but we'll get over it). people like an honest 'community' feel here.
