The MWV-600 we recently picked up seems to have a pretty flat shape with straight fingers – no bowl or curved fingers.

Photos of other specimens have a similar straight-finger look, but I’m not sure if our glove was just broken that way or maybe got flat because of the way it was stored.

How would you characterize the “when new” pattern/shape of the MWV-600 vs. other popular 11.5” patterns like the PRO200, NP4, and 1786?

Had one that was slightly bowled and two that were flat. IMO that Japanese made ones were flatter and the USA made were a tad bowl shaped. I would suggest the mizuno is flater than those others mentioned.. Maybe more like the Tulo model of today

Thanks for the input. Ours is stamped "Japan", so that makes sense.

Fantastic glove. But some are better than others. Some have better shape and leather. USA and Japan models have different leather. Find the right one and it will be your gamer.
