Here is three pictures of Rawlings HOH leather in Tan. These three gloves are actually the same pattern, and I'll make this a little easier and say they were all manufactured in the Philippines. All of the pictures were taken with flash. Two with one camera the other with an iPhone camera.

Are any of them Horween? Are any of them J-Tan? Are any of them Oiled Horween Tan? Are any of them Butterscotch, Gold Tan, or Other Variation?

While I don't doubt I'm way off, its fun to play.

#1 Dry Horween - Mostly because of the obvious "bloom" though I do second guess myself it could be oiled horween, but the texture in #2 looks more like oiled horween to me

#2 Oiled Horween - Mostly because of how dense the texture looks in the image, the oiled seems to swell a bit gives it a smoother look and feel.

#3 Gold Tan - Because there's no indent, at first I though late 90s Philly but the color and the flatness of stamp I lean towards GT

White cows with black spots are Holstiens and are dairy cows. They're not used in leather making and are generally 1500lbs, though at 521lbs they are generally calves and males are sold to make veal.

Haha good stuff here.

Shiftclick has 2/3 right, Wally is 0/3, there is your hint. Bigmac is 3/3 on the names of cows.

Two of the Three are stock models, the other is a Pro Issue.

Bonus points if you can guess the pattern off such a small pictures. As your hint there, pictures 1 and 3 have an ever so slight give-away as to what pattern is is definitely not, and point in the right direction of what it may be. Option 2 does absolutely nothing to help you on pattern.

Top of Rawlings script and Gold Glove, I was thinking TT2/AK2 but figured any laced heel would put it in the smaller space.

I'll try to post a group pic soon buuuuuuut......

The one you called "Gold Tan," is actually the Horween Tan on the latest TT2 iteration! All 3 are Horween two being your stock Horween and the middle one being an oiled Horween. The two PI's were requested firm and the padding in the gloves is significantly more firm than the stock TT2. The leather firmness of them all is actually very even.

I'll put it in writing, the current Horween leather, from a leather perspective, is pretty darn good. As with all tan leathers, lot colors are generally a bit different. No different here.

The new stock TT2 is an oil infused horween.

Technically all of the Horween leather has oil it it - depends on how much. C5, 55, 555 - C9, 99, 999 (Rawlings designations)
