Hey Everyone, first post here of many.

I'm a longtime member of SBF and SportsFreaksOnline (Canadian SBF) and I had a question for the glove guru's.

I've recently acquired both an HOH PRO303-6JBT (Alex Gordon) and a PP PROS303-6BR.

Wondering if you kept only 1, which would you keep and why?

I'm primarily an infielder and only have played a handful of innings in the outfield, that being said, I'm not as familiar with OF patterns as I am with INF ones.

Your choice mostly boils down to personal preference. Both gloves are top notch. The PP will take longer to break in but if you take the time, and don't mind a stiffer glove, that's the one for you. The HOH has J leather which is softer and I've noticed the color tends to run a little with the black J leather.

Just my imput, I'm sure others will chime in!

Most guys on here will tell you they prefer HOH. I've used both, and both are great gloves for slightly different reasons. (in my experience) The PP will give you the comfort and luxurious feel, and will take longer to break it. The HOH has a slghtly more rugged, heavy feel, because of the steer hide.

My main beef with the PP is that I've found that after the leather has been swallowing dirt and sweat for a while, it will tend to crack way before a steer hide leather glove would.

Once again, GW members dispensing the good info.
I agree... it all comes down to personal preference. The PP will have a higher end/luxurious feel, have a stiffer pinky/thumb, hold it's shape better, take longer to break in, and form a more personal/custom feeling pocket, but in the past the HOH's tended to hold up better over time and they have a more rugged/workmanlike feel to them.

All a matter of personal preference... you certainly can't go wrong with either one.

Thanks for the help so far guys.

I'm leaning towards keeping the HOH, primarily because I've already spent a fair bit of time breaking it in.

Also, I prefer a black glove, and this black and tan combo is nice.

I have the HOH, and it's awesome.
