SSK was recently reintroduced to the US. Several Pro lines (Edge, Select, Premier, Prestige, Player) as well as custom through customglove.com

I'm thinking about picking one up, however, would like your thoughts on the quality, durability and fit/feel of these gloves relative to Rawlings PP, HOH and Wilson A2000s? Rank on scale of 1-10.

Much appreciated

I would't exactly call it "re-introduced," as they have been around 5+ years on custom glove now. I've had 3 of their customs, from Customglove.com from 2012/2013, in tan, black, and navy leather. The quality and craftsmanship is really really good. On par with the Big 3. The issue for me was pattern. I was not a big fan of the shape of their gloves.

I prefer gloves that close thumb to ring in the infield. The 11 3/4 I had closed more towards the index finger.

The OF model (in the FS section) was just a little more narrow at the heel than I prefer.

Thumb to ring or thumb to index; wouldn't that just be a factor of how the glove was broken in?

Understand about the heel. I too have seen same size gloves of different manufactures with different heel widths.

Not really. I mean, you can force a glove to close a lot of different ways. A PRO200 naturally closes close to Thumb/Ring. An NP closes Thumb to Index.

If you've had the chance to see two palms fresh off a clicker press it makes more sense. You'll notice some gloves have a two lace hinge vs three.

I wouldn't buy SSK gloves sold in America. The Probrain and Proedge series gloves that are sold overseas are far superior and not imported into the USA.

Here's the link to my Probrain glove. It is made with Kip leather and handcrafted by SSK's best craftsmen as it is a Master Build Edition. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
