So this is a USA PRO1000HCB, but it sure looks like it originally had a basket web on it. Supposedly NWOT, but I'd be pretty upset if I bought this thinking it was a collectors quality stock USA PRO1000 and found it did not have the original web. I don't think i have ever seen a PRO1000BCB, so maybe Rawlings use the H designation no matter the web. That little fact would make it easy to make this modification and trick potential buyers.

My dad had one of these up until 2010, had a basket on it. by the looks of the lacing on this it was replaced with an H.

Lacing is clearly different. But then what does the 'H' stand for in the model number?

H, B, and T are the only two webs identified in model designation by letter. I bet nobody thought to change the H to a B. This clearly started with a basket web.

But it is weird.

You guys are brilliant. I almost bid on that glove and I did not pick up on the lacing. Never even looked at the inside of the web. I have 5 Pro1000s from Bob and have relaced them multiple times. I would have been pissed to pay $225 for this one

thanks for pointing it out

That is what we are here for! There is a reason basket web versions sell for less, but I think the swap actually lowers the value...

The "H" designates H-Web period. I believe that this may have been a "factory" modification and while this glove was clearly punched for a Basket Web based on the lacing, the stamping is correct for an H-web model.
