Does anybody have a custom Eastbay Rawlings with black patches on a black glove? If so how does it look?

Yeah Mike Hardin does.. here's a pic he posted on here with other gloves that he has. One of my favorites from his collection:

Do all customs ordered through Eastbay (St. Louis customs) have the St Louis stamp on the inner pinky? I was also wondering if those same customs have a full length welt on the index finger, just something i love on a glove. Thanks in advance!

I have a Eastbay custom USA glove that does NOT have the St. Louis Custom Shop stamp on it. If you mention it to Bob in an email, I am pretty sure he will put the stamps on it. I think they all have the "Made in U.S.A." stamp on the palm under the bull, though.

Personally, I like the distinguishing stamps on the glove.

Thanks for posting this information.

I ordered a custom glove from Eastbay a month or so ago and received it a week or so ago and it's the most amazing glove I've ever worn. I wouldn't have known to order it from Eastbay and the St. Louis Custom Shop if not for the information on this forum.

The glove is a work of art. When I took it out of the box I took a hard look and told my wife that I wasn't sure I could or should break it in. I left it on a shelf in my living room overnight and thought about it. That's how special this glove is. In the end I decided to break it in and, although it's still being broken in, it's unlike any glove I've ever owned.

Thanks again.

Yes I noticed it was listed as an option on the "receipt" when I received my custom. I wasn't aware it was an option and it would be nice if they updated their glove builder. I couldn't care less but other people will.

Tempting, but man for 300 bucks I would have a hard time going with a mesh glove over a USA built one ?

I just ordered a custom 217 mesh back through Morton's. They still honored the old price too.

edit: $245.94 shipped for those who don't know the old price.

this just sealed the deal for me. I'm thinking 11.5 Single Post. All tan with black mesh.

I may very well order a couple more over the winter months.

Two gloves on my list:
tan mesh back 217
tan mesh back 200
