Just bought this glove brand new. Can someone help me decipher the jd-6BUB part of the code?

6 - web pattern.
BU - butterscotch colored leather

Thanks. I figured it was pretty easily decoded. Can anyone tell me what design features are special to the JD pattern?

Got an email back from customer service. Apparently the JD models (12.5 and 13 in) are based off of the 303 pattern. The 303 pocket is really wide and deep and the JD's are even wider and deeper than the 303.

Should make an excellent softball glove of nothing else.

I've tried on the JD pattern gloves before. Only problem I have is that the bottom of the finger stalls tend to cut into the thumb and pinky fingers.
Doesn't feel good to me and I've got pretty decent sized hands.
