I'm looking at a new glove for my kids, 16 and 13. Both are 11.5" and are recommended for infield use. It looks like the only difference between these two models is the web, H-web vs 6 Finger Trap. What is the advantages/disadvantages between the H-web and 6 Finger Trap web? Is there a difference in pocket depth, weight, ease of breakin? My kids play mostly SS but also a little OF. I called Wilson but they just read from their website. Thanks.

6 finger webs tend to play narrow, and IMO they just don't feel right for IF use.
As for the A1K, you can find a lot of nice deals on A2000s and HOHs for the same (or less) money. Those will last longer and perform much better. My 13 year old brother has been using a 11.25" HOH for 4 seasons now, we got it for $100.

I had a OTIF for a couple of weeks some time ago (never gamed it) but the pocket felt deep for me with the glove feeling wide. For middle infield where your need to get the ball out quick, I'd be hesitant.
My other issue with traps for infield is the durability over the long haul of the fingers.
I'm partial to the 1786 pattern but all the kids like the snug "pedroia fit". Also, the DP15 is a lot of palm so that helps with the quick transitions.
Price wise, you could probably find the A2000 models for $160-$180 (cheaper if patient) on the auction site and you will be getting a better leather than the A1K. I also feel the A1000 leather is better.
For outfield, you'd probably want to invest in a 12.5"-13" glove
