Overall quality and performance on the Evo is absolutely superb. Just what i would expect out of a bat the retails at $200.

Thanks for the info. Since Chandler has zero discounts, I'm going back for more Evo's.

Just picked up one of the evoshield 110 for my son for Christmas. I ordered my son a custom chandler over 4 months ago and finally asked for a refund. They seem to be a little overwhelmed with there move into there newer bigger facility. My son loves there bats but the evoshield is a lot cheaper and readily available right now. Customer service was great and they tried to do everything but they just seem like they don't have everything together quite yet.

I agree yankees23. I was toying with the same idea of ordering my son one of their youth bats for Christmas. Came out to $135, but when no one there would answer the phone or return my emails, I decide to watch Evo for hopefully a holiday sale. $75 for a stock Chandler is fine with me.

Wally,

I have dealt with Chandler numerous times in the past couple of years and they have been awesome to say the least. But right now they seem to be a little overwhelmed and if I am going to pay all that money for one of there bats I don't want to be waiting for months at a time. In all fairness they tried to make things right but just couldn't deliver my ordered bat even after saying it was days away numerous times.

I just cant pay that much for a wood bat. The LaCasse I mentioned in an earlier post on this thread is still going strong. Best 55 dollars I've ever spent (they went up 10 bucks on birch since then). To me there are too many good bat makers out there to pay 200 a bat.

What a bummer. It must seem like some bad tease. What turn do you prefer?
