For me, it's function first, which would be the pattern, then quality, and then weight. Also price is a big factor.

I think quality of build per dollar is my biggest thing.

Other Factors: The Look. Its gotta look good. Obviously, thats hard to quantify, since there is such a wide range of personal preference. For me, I like the traditional looking stuff. A nice, clean looking PRO1000HC is perfect to me. In the end, if I'm not coveting it just from seeing a picture of it, I'm probably never going to buy it regardless of its other qualities.

Function would be number one for me. Then quality, then weight. I need to feel confident that if the ball is hit in my direction I can make the play.

The pattern is the most important thing to me. Then comes the quality and durability, which usually go together.

My top three are functionality, comfort, and then looks of course!

Hard for me to use one word to specify the most important factor, because so many things have to be right.

If I had to use one word, I would use “feel”, which encompasses several attributes:

Feel includes fit and comfort. The glove has to have a good fit.
Feel includes how the pattern closes. It has to have a natural-feeling closure.
Feel includes the feel of the leather and padding quality, which speaks to durability and shape retention.
Feel, to a lesser extent, includes weight. A glove that is relatively heavy or light for its size is noticeable, but not necessarily a critical factor.

You can't get a sense of feel without physical contact (that sounds weird :D ) with the glove.

I would say:
1- Size
2- Leather
3- Look
Then the rest

Quality of the product is most important for me, I know certain brand sand have tried others, if it is not comfortable or good quality it is a blew in my book.

1. Quality/Brand (they typically go hand in hand)
2. Durability
3. Pattern/Size/Web which coincides with Function
4. Weight
5. Look

For me:
1. Functionality (where I'm going to use it)
2. Size (recommended for the position)
3. Feel/weight ( I have bigger hands so these are probably the most important)
4. Quality (want some decent leather)
5. Looks ( not as important as my younger days but still...)
6. Make/price ( don't mind make or paying a little more as long it's comfortable)

Good leather and a good pattern. Other things like weight are bonuses but if I have quality leather and a good pattern then it will work well.
