I have a few vintage gloves, but this one is my favorite. It is a Jim Lemon S505 and while it only measures 11.25", it is as deep as any glove I have ever seen. I'd love to have a new on of these to break in. I love the experimental era in gloves, that 30 year transition from oven mitt to the modern glove. I don't think I have seen anything "new" since about 1990 (that freeky sun visor Mizuno doesn't count).
Can you imagine what it must have been like for guys like Ted Williams who started with oven mitts and finished with essentially modern gloves.
