I was looking at the rawlings gg601 series. I want to be able to use it for softball, but also as a baseball outfield glove. Is it big enough with a deep enough pocket to use as an outfielders glove for softball? I read on another post the 302 series is good, but I'm not sure if they have a trapeze web as an option, which I really want. I used to use a 12.5 (rbg36 I think), mainly as a pitcher and outfielder. Looking for some opinions.

12.75" Rawlings gloves I've used for both SB and baseball, are the PRO302 (H-web) and PROTB24 (trap).
Both are plenty big for SB, and among the most popular patterns for baseball OF as well.

I had a used GG601 for a short time last year. It's definitely big enough and deep enough for softball. Until a couple of months ago when I bought a GG502 basket web, I always used an RBG36 for softball. The 601 is a bit bigger at 12.75". I would have kept the GG601 had I figured out sooner the thick heel pad was what made it tiring to close. Already had it listed on e-bay, or I would have kept it and modified the heel pad. Nice glove.

For a full trap softball/baseball glove, you may want to also check out the vincipro site. They have a bunch of full traps ranging from 12.75" to 13.5" (the 12.75" is more of a 12.5" and the 13" is more of a 12.75").

Also, the Mizuno Ichiro 12.75" webs would work.

I have a gg601b and love it for both softball and baseball. A 12.75 I won't ever be the biggest glove on the softball diamond, but it works extremely well for softball in my opinion. Plays a bit like the equivalent of a middle infielder glove in baseball. Not too big that you have to put your whole arm inside it to get the ball out quickly, but big enough that you can close around the ball securely and still get the ball out quickly if playing infield. The strength and flexibility of the Trap-Eze web is unmatched of course.

Ended up getting the PRO302-6P and love it. Nice big, deep pocket and dig the H web. The oxblood leather is really nice too. This glove swallows baseballs.

I use my Nokona BM-76 and its a great cross-over glove....

I'm not sure what the modern Nokona equivalent is to the BM-76, but someone may chime in

The modern equivalent is the AMG175 (now called the WS1200C or BS1200C). In pics, the AMG175 and the BM-76 are almost indistinguishable, but the AMG175 has a deeper pocket to accommodate a softball.
