Fine glove, but returned it because it measured 12.75" when I was looking for a small 12"

Pocket was crazy deep..baseball got lost in there. Closed around a softball perfectly, but was looking for a verstile baseball infielder at the time. Pete told me this one was made special without the finger sleeve and I figured thats why the specs were off.

Makes a lot of sense then. This is one model that I have not had the pleasure of picking up yet. However, I think I might have to since I moved my 11.5" BV1150-M.

What did you of the craftsmanship and did you pick up another Vinci?

The leather was very soft on that BV...wasn't quite right

Was just about to pick up a CT82 before I found a Pro Preferred in the same pattern that I love.

Have a BMB-L that I bought right before the mesh backs were introduced :x

Most Vinci 12" gloves are more suited for the P position (maybe even 3B). This is why they have a deep pocket. I wouldn't recommend going any bigger than 11.75" for baseball & actually think that 11.5" is optimal. I had a JC03 that was a great middle infield glove.

If you're looking at the mesh backs, consider the JV21-M or the JV26-M. I'd also highly recommend the JV20, JC3300-L, JV21-L........ to name a few.
