I know this may be hard to believe in today's world of glove flipping where everyone's glove magically becomes a PI, but I believe this glove was recently sold on the bay for $100 less with absolutely no mention of it being a PI. Maybe it was the gameday glove of Hanley Ramirez' second cousin Rafi, in his Thursday night beer league softball games.

Beautiful looking glove, but find one in a store. The one I saw struck me as a bit odd.

I did purchase this glove on Ebay and it wasn't listed as a "Pro Issue." However, after emailing the seller it seemed apparent that it was. The wife of ball player listed it and said that it was given to her husband. The glove has no model stamping on the inside. The leather is unlike anything I have ever seen on the many Nokonas I have seen. The shape and construction is just completely different from AMG1275.

Although I don't have a COA saying it's a pro issue, I challenge anyone to find one like it. It is one of the most impressive gloves I have experienced in my years of collecting.

Ryan

Thanks for sharing that. Unique glove you have there. We would love to see some more pictures of the glove if you feel so inclined.

Can't understand why Nokona doesn't just sell gloves that look like this at a competitive price?

From Rob. They made several prototypes of this new model (hence, few markings). This one was sitting on the shelf and a minor league player's agent called wanting to try a Nokona. They grabbed it and sent him this one.

So yeah, it was issued to a pro (sort of), but it was not made for him.
