I just got the Mike Trout Nike glove and it is awesome but I have one slight problem. I am breaking it in with 2 fingers in the pinky but the glove closes thumb to middle/ring finger when i want it to go to the ring/pinkie finger. Is anyone else having that problem/ is that normal?

It's normal. Different gloves will naturally close to different fingers. If you really want to get it to close thumb to pinkie, you'll have to just keep working at getting it to close that way.

Don't worry defiantly normal. If you really want it to close to a specific finger, I would close the glove to the finger you want it to, and then if you have a glove mallet beat the break point on the thumb side with the glove closed that way.

You're probably closing the glove at the standard break point. As with most gloves, you'll need to establish a different break point in the heel in order to close thumb to pinky. Baseballer27 is right about closing it where you want and using a mallet (I use a 5 lb dumbbell). You want to beat the heel and create the break point you want. I actually make break points all over the heel and try to get it as thin and soft as possible.

Trout breaks his gloves in thumb to pinky/ring finger, and as stiff as these gloves are, I don't think it will be too hard to establish your own break points that allow you to do the same.
