I can't get the actual link to work, but if you copy and paste the above link into your browser it should work.

OR

Copy and past this 久保田スラッガー into a google search and click images.

Would love to find a reliable contact for Kubota Slugger. Enjoy the link to some beautiful leather.

I wonder if the hot water break in, is the reason the laces are curled?
Can't wait to read your review of the glove.

As far as i'm aware it hasn't received the hot water treatment. I do see the laces you are talking about.

What size is the glove? Beautiful glove.

There are several nice baseball glove blogs that are written in Japanese, but have great photos of some quality leather.

Yes, but I haven't read enough about Rakuten. Do the sales all go through Rakuten or are they individual sellers?

I think it's a 3rd party site. They connect you to shops in japan.

Please anyone correct me if I'm wrong.

Rakuten is a very reliable source that connects the English-speaking world with Japanese shops. You aren't going to find a better one online.

One thing about Kubota Slugger gloves

KSN = Nanshiki or Rubber baseball gloves (Between $200-$300US)

KSG = Hard ball (American) baseball gloves (Between $450-$600US)

KSG is superior quality but is twice the price. The overwhelming vast majority of us can play with the KSN nanshiki line.

My problem with Rakuten is even when its translated to english, certain parts are still in Japanese. Example is when it come time to select the shipping, all 3 choices are in Japanese. No idea what they say.
