This is my first ebay snag in a while - its brand new, and I got it for way cheaper than it should have been. Its also my first non-USA Glovesmith, and I'm really impressed. The pattern is perfect, in my opinion. The leather is not quite the same as the USA leather, but its still very nice (its their top-of-the-line non-USA leather). I gave it a VERY light wipe down with some saddle soap which seemed to work wonders. Might be a new gamer. That is, once I'm up and walking again after ACL surgery.

Slick! Nice p/u. I have seen 1225 Elites and thought they were different form the USA 1225, but this one looks dead on. I'd say this pattern is flatter and longer playing than the RV23, but about the same overall size.

Thanks for pics.

flatter, i think so. i'm not sure about longer. if I line up the bend at the bottom of the pinkie (where it turns 90 degrees and becomes the heel), the Glovesmith is visibly a full 1/2" shorter than the RV23, which is supposedly the same size. i really need to get a soft tape measure so i can compare stuff like this.

Yeah, the RV23 pinkie is definitely longer than the GS1225. I have always thought of the RV23 as more squat (deeper with shorter fingers) than the GS, but maybe I am wrong about that. Here are some pics.
