Yep. I play ASA and USSSA. Usually lower levels, C/D/EE(ASA). Fill in for 3 teams(C/D). Play EE.

Typically, OF and depends on the team I am playing with. I am average everywhere and not great anywhere.

I think the levels you play at are determined by how big of a pond you play in. I bet my B & C city league levels
would be more comparable to lower levels in larger areas. It doesn't matter where I play because I can still hang with pretty darn good players without embarrassing myself. When my kid finally figures out I'm not all wor

By the way, thanks for your input on the Vinci gloves. I'm still considering models, especially the BR44 for some reason. Can't find much info on it though.

you are welcome. The BR44 is a great glove. Lately, it has been shadowed by the TJ1952-L and the BMB-L. The 6.5oz kip leather of the BR44 gives superior padding in the palm with good durability.

I use the TJ1952-L and it is amazing. Only one complaint, it's almost too big. Ha ha.

I just started playing second base for a mens christian league this year. I believe it is ASA, but I am not 100% sure.

Since 1987. ASA Rec, don't think we're really classified. And a church co-ed league I oversee.
Until last year I played ss fulltime. Tried to move to 2nd more on the men's team last year, but still ended up at short more than not. This year I've played ss, 2b, 1b, and catcher. I'm the coach for both teams, so I've been playing where I'm needed rather than automatically playing ss like in the past.

Yep, I play ASA ball 2-3 nights a week in metal only, singlewall only leagues. I usually play 3rd, but am comfortable anywhere in the infield (though my range gets shorter every year, so I play middle infield only on rare occasions these days).

This is my 30th year of softball. Being raised in Chicago, the only thing around back then was 16". Started playing 12" in '82, playing in "B" leagues for many years.

Now I am playing 3 times/week, both ASA and NSA, C and D. Still playing with the kids, but I will be eligible for the 50 and over next year

Played OF/3B/2B when I was younger, but now sticking to 3B and occasional 1B.

Fall ball starts this Wednesday night. Weather is not too bad in September. October, not so much.

I play here in League City (just south of Houston) at Big League Dreams, pristine fields, all infield turf and manicured grass outfield. Replicas of big league stadiums, Wrigley, Ebbets, Crosley, Yankee, Fenway, Sportsman. I started about 4 yrs ago and play ASA league play, but they allow USSSA legal bats and infiled gets interesting in AA league play with guys that can put the ball anywhere they want....hard. It's a little different with yellow piss rockets fired at you but a lot of fun. Infiled softball is a little more challenging than infield hardball, balls are hit a lot harder and the distance between bases is a lot shorter so you gotta get it out quick. Haven't done any tourney ball yet, had offers, just don't know if I want to commit that much to it yet, got the 2 yr old @ home and working on the 2nd kiddo. But it's still a lot of fun.

I'd do your tourney stuff now. I've found that I've had to greatly scale back "my stuff" now that my son is older and I'm coaching all of his teams. I bet you could also find time to play some tourney while "working on that second kiddo". I found that it didn't take much time out of my schedule!!

Just help coach the girls now. Would love to get back in but would have to wait for over 50, these guys are too tough around here. Still pitching around 90 mph - I'd probably twist myself off at the waist trying to hit that junk.

Yes.

ASA & USSSA

OF, and 10% at 1B

I made the switch just after college baseball. I sucked for two years. We played UNLIMITED ARC,
I must have K'ed like 10 times that yeah. Fouled out like another 25.

Now, I'm a veteran on the team. I love it because I get to used all my different gloves.
And trying to hitting the crap out of the ball.

I play here in the Cleveland area in a rec league on 4 teams, plus the team I manage. (All ASA) I mainly play 1B and LF. Tore my left ACL recently though, so won't be playing anytime soon. Hope to get back out on the field soon though.
