Awesome stuff. I ordered 2. I feel like I'm ripping Eastbay off, which I don't mind at all.

Congrats on the success Gabby.

Does anyone (Gabby) know what model the black one is on Eastbay? In the description they mention the Roma, but it doesn't say for sure. Thanks

It may be a stock photo (even on the website - the "PRO" bats are all the same bat, even though there are different models). If it says Roma, I assume that is the model that Eastbay bought to sell on the site.

I think Mine is going to be a hit, as European Beech is amazing wood. I did get a call yesterday, and the Spring Training trip for me is off. :(

An interesting question would be: Do you think other companies with come out with European Beech bats now that they are legal for pro ball?

Just picked mine up. The black ones on Eastbay's website are -2 Romas. They have a rubberized coating which is kind of weird, but I like it. If it stays on it would almost eliminate the need for tape.

I Couldve sworn i saw Prince Fielder swinging Mine. WPW just confirmed it. Great Stuff for a great company.

Mine Bats are still $50 on Eastbay.

I think a realistic answer is: doubtful.

Supply of European Beech is very, very tough for anyone to get - especially US companies. Mine Bats are manufactured in Italy, by a company that has been working with EB for about 100 years. They have supply, and the tools to manufacture.

Louisville Slugger has tried, but logistically the European Beech project did not work out for them. I think that Mine is in a very solid position to do big things. That's my opinion with the information that I have. Who knows, though.
